Property Assessments

Community fire hazard severity forms are being completed by the Mt. Lemmon Fire District.  The properties on Mt. Lemmon are assessed in accordance to the International Urban/Wildland Interface Codes of 2003 that has been adopted by Pima County.  If you would like to request a severity rating for your property, please contact Chief Dean Barnella at (520) 576-1201.

Fuels Treatment Projects

bulletHazard Fuel Abatement - The Mt. Lemmon Fire District entered into an IGA (Intergovernmental Agreement) with the Pima County Department of Transportation to complete the cutting and removal of dead hazard trees in the Right-of-Ways that were burned due to the Aspen fire in 2003
bulletGrant Projects - The Mt. Lemmon Fire District and the Loma Sabino Homeowner's Association continue to receive 50/50 awards from the SFA (State Fire Assistance) for fuels treatment projects
bulletRebuilding/Reconstruction - If your property has not been cleared of dead/hazard trees, please contact the Mt. Lemmon Fire District for assistance
